About Us
Beside the cotton fields of the Nile Delta in Egypt, the story of Mianmianji began in 1995. The founder Amir's grandmother, a renowned local hand weaver, always said, "A person spends one-third of their life asleep, so the sheets closest to your body should be as soft as clouds, so as not to waste that time." Influenced by his grandmother, Amir traveled to premium cotton-producing regions around the world, ultimately choosing the long-staple cotton of the Nile Delta — where the cotton enjoys ample sunlight, with fibers 30% longer than ordinary cotton, producing yarn as fine as silk. To preserve the cotton's most authentic softness, Mianmianji adheres to the "traditional combing process," removing short fibers and impurities from the cotton, then polishing it through 12 rounds of washing to give the sheets a naturally breathable feel that resists wrinkling and hardness even after repeated washes. From handmade creations beside the Nile to a national brand safeguarding the sleep of millions today, Mianmianji has always remembered its original intent: good sheets are not just bedding; they are a gentle armor that carries the peace of every night’s dreams.
